SubTrack is built to work without an account or cloud sync. This page explains exactly what data the app touches, and it's short because there isn't much to explain.
Everything you enter in SubTrack — your tracked subscriptions, prices, categories, notes, and app settings (language, currency, reminders) — is stored locally on your device only. It is never sent to SubTrack's developer, and there is no account or server-side copy. If you delete the app or use Settings → Delete all data, this information is gone.
If you use the optional "Back up data" feature (SubTrack Pro), a copy of this data is written to a file that you explicitly share or save via your device's own share sheet — SubTrack does not upload it anywhere itself.
SubTrack uses PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand anonymous, aggregate usage — for example, which screens are opened, whether a subscription was added, or whether the paywall was viewed. These events are tied to an anonymous device-generated identifier, not to your name, email, or the contents of your subscription list. You can see the full list of event types in the app's source code.
SubTrack Pro purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), with RevenueCat used to verify your purchase and unlock Pro features. SubTrack's developer never receives or stores your payment card details.
Billing reminders are scheduled locally on your device using your device's own notification system. No push notification server is involved and no reminder data leaves your device.
If you submit feedback with a comment in the app, your device's email app may open a pre-filled message addressed to the developer. Nothing is sent automatically — you choose whether to send it.
SubTrack is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
